Ammonium Paratungstate popularly known as APT is a white crystalline powder. It is used as an intermediate product for manufacturing of tungsten trioxide, tungsten metal and its derivatives.

Sodium tungstate is an inorganic compound, colourless or white crystalline powder. It is used as an intermediate product for manufacturing of tungsten metal. Commercially sodium tungstate is marketed in dehydrate or anhydrous form. It has high solubility in water and can be synthesized with high purity.

Application –

• Fire proofing agent
• Catalyst in pharmaceuticals, dye and pigments
• Epoxidation of alkenes and oxidation of alcohols into ketones or aldehydes.
• Heteropoly acid color lakes used in printing inks, waxes, glasses etc.
• Antidiabetic agent
• Galvanic coating
• Manufacturing of X-ray contrast agents

Tungsten trioxide also known as “Yellow Tungsten Oxide” because of its characteristic canary yellow color. It is thermally stable and water insoluble compound. It is produced by calcinations of APT above700°C.

• Pigment in ceramics and paints
• Electro chromic windows & smart windows

Tungsten Trioxide (YTO)- Tungsten trioxide also known as “Yellow Tungsten Oxide” because of its characteristic canary yellow color. It is thermally stable and water insoluble compound. It is produced by calcinations of APT above700°C.

 Tungstic acid is a hydrated form of tungsten trioxide. It is yellow in color and can be manufactured with fine particle size distribution. It is used as intermediate for all the tungsten variants.

• Surface coating
• Fire proofing fabrics
• Mordant in textile
• Yellow pigment
• Production of organo-metallic tungsten products.
